Is your worksite documentation really in order?

When an authority or client asks for vacuum data or a handover document, can you find everything you need in a few minutes – or does your heart start pounding and you start searching for papers?

This is unfortunately a familiar situation on many construction sites. That is why we are constantly developing Kvalilog so that documentation is not a separate task, but a natural part of everyday work.

We have just added new reports and improvements to the system that will make site documentation even smoother.

Three new reports at your disposal:

1. Vacuum monitoring report

Vacuum is crucial in all renovation projects that involve dusty work. With this report, you can easily verify that the vacuum has been maintained at a sufficient level during the work and that the dust has stayed where it should be.

2. Asbestos demolition work handover report also for site removal and bag demolition work

The report is quick to fill out and ready to present to the client or authority. Includes photos, quantities and comments – all in one document.

3. Verification measurement report

A practical and easy-to-fill tool for air samplers.

What's new with the asbestos removal handover report

We have added fields to the handover report that make reporting even more comprehensive and informative. Now you can also include:

  • Quantities: how much material was demolished

  • Safety observations related to continued use: have all mapped materials been dismantled, or are there still asbestos-containing materials remaining on the site?

  • Other comments: additional work, changes, problems or other noteworthy points

Why is proper documentation important?

Comprehensive and clear reporting is part of high-quality contracting, but also an important safeguard for your company. A well-written handover document:

  • shows the client that the work has been done responsibly

  • serves as evidence if there are any questions about the construction site later

  • ensures that the information is also retained for future users of the property

The existence of an updated Asbestos and hazardous materials survey and demolition reports is a key part of the property's maintenance documentation and planning for future renovations.

Kvalilog® makes documentation smooth

The most important thing for us is that documentation is not a burden, but a tool that makes your work easier. If you want to hear more about new features or need usage tips, please contact me, I'm happy to help.
